Hertford Heath Parish Council is seeking a part‑time Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) to undertake the statutory duties of Proper Officer to the Council.
We are a small, active parish situated in Hertford Heath, with several exciting projects in development. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who enjoys making things happen and is committed to supporting our community.
About the Role
This is a part‑time position of 25 hours per week, with some evening work required.
As the Parish Council does not have a physical office, the successful candidate will work from home, and an allowance will be provided.
We welcome applications from all sectors of the community and are willing to consider applicants who are new to the Clerk role, provided they are enthusiastic, organised, and eager to undertake the relevant training.

- Salary dependent on experience and qualifications, aligned to LC2 (SCP 22–26) of the Government Services Pay Agreement.
